When you need it
When something hurts or a symptom lingers, waiting days for imaging is stressful. On-site X-ray services change that. Because our diagnostic imaging lives under the same roof as your primary care, your provider can order an X-ray, review it, and talk through the results with you, often in a single visit. That means fewer trips, faster answers, and a care team that sees the whole picture instead of a scan in isolation. Having X-ray and primary care together in one medical home also keeps your records connected, so every image becomes part of your ongoing story rather than a loose file at an outside imaging center.
Booking takes about two minutes. New patients of all ages are always welcome.
Life does not pause for a sprain or a chest cold, and neither should your care. Our same-day X-ray availability means you can often be seen, imaged, and reassured without ever leaving the building. Our modern digital X-ray equipment [equipment brand/model placeholder] captures crisp images in seconds using very low radiation doses, and because everything is digital, there is no waiting on film to develop. For most patients, that translates to a same-day conversation about what the images show and what comes next. It is diagnostic imaging built around your day, delivered by people who treat you like a neighbor, because in Little Rock, you are one.
River City Medical Group provides on-site X-ray and diagnostic imaging for patients of all ages. Our licensed Little Rock imaging services include:
For coughs, congestion, pneumonia, and breathing concerns
For back and neck pain evaluation
Hands, wrists, arms, elbows, feet, ankles, legs, and knees, for fractures, sprains, and injuries
Tracking arthritis in the extremities and spine
For chronic sinus and facial pain concerns
Our on-site X-ray is performed by a state-licensed Limited Scope technologist and covers the chest, extremities, skull and sinuses, and spine. If you need imaging outside this scope, your provider will coordinate a referral to a trusted imaging partner, so you always leave with a clear next step.
Your provider may recommend an X-ray to diagnose an injury or get to the bottom of a symptom. As part of your primary care, we commonly use on-site diagnostic imaging to evaluate:
If your X-ray reveals something that needs a specialist, your primary care team coordinates the referral and stays involved, so you are never navigating the next step alone.
We want your visit to feel simple and stress-free. When you arrive at our Little Rock clinic, a friendly technologist will explain each step before you begin. Most X-ray exams take only a few minutes: you will be positioned comfortably, asked to hold still for a moment, and that is it, no needles and no discomfort. Our digital X-ray uses a very low dose of radiation, and we take care to image only what is needed. Because our imaging services are digital, your provider can view the results quickly and, in most cases, discuss them with you the same day.
To make your X-ray visit smooth, please wear comfortable clothing without metal zippers or snaps near the area being imaged, and let us know if you are or may be pregnant.
